Body Painting Competition Rules and Regulations

Body
Gras is a competition open to all skilled artisans, amateur or professional.
- Teams may be
comprised of no more than 3 team members: one artist, one model and one hair
stylist/make-up artist/assistant.
- All models must be 18
years or older.
- Competition will
begin at the slated time. Competitors and models must report to the
competitor's floor at least 30 minutes before the start of the competition.
- Competitors will have
3.5 hours to complete the body painting, hair and make-up.
- Only registered team
members, registered pass holders and competition officials are allowed in
the competition area.
- Competitors must
supply all necessary equipment and products, including towels, brushes,
water buckets and any other tools. Body paint is available for a nominal
fee.
- Props are permitted
as part of the costume design only and must be movable. Props or costume may
not be more than 20% of total body coverage.
- Total nudity is not
allowed. The only thing we ask is that .Genitalia is Covered. i.e. t-bar,
g-strip, thong, whatever.
- Any infraction or
violation of the competition rules will be subject to point penalties or may
result in disqualification.
- Event
organizers/staff and/or hosts will not be held liable for any injury or
damage incurred or sustained by competitors or models. Organizers reserve
the right to reject any entry deemed inappropriate.
- All competitors shall
allow event organizers the right to publish the winner's names and photos of
him/herself and models.
- All models must sign
a model waiver, which will be sent to the competitors upon registration and
must be completed and returned at the time of the competition. Failure to
compete and submit this form will result in disqualification.
- All music and
storylines (typed or electronically) must be submitted to Body Gras
organizers one week prior to the start of competitions.
- No Bare Feet allowed
during the competition presentation.
